Lean Into Agile Consulting
Lisa's journey to becoming the agile enthusiast and coach today actually started by accident. Several years ago, she was flagged to attend a Lean Greenbelt course at work as they needed a couple of more people to fill the class. After the 3 week intensive in class workshop and 3 week equally intensive project work, she was hooked. The cultural change part of lean was what really stood out. Putting the customers, whether internal or external first and removing waste mattered.
Although she had been on a few agile pilots prior to that, it wasn't until becoming an internal agile transformation lead under the mentor-ship of Mark Lines, co-creator of Disciplined Agile Delivery that the value of agile ways of working became clear.
The values and principles of lean and agile are grounded in the same spirit of a highly collaborative, people-centered way of working to produce value for the customer. These are the foundation of my practice and guide my way of working with my clients.
My journey to agile came from lean and as a result my consultancy is called Lean Into Agile. How can I help you improve the culture in your organization and teams? How can I help you Lean in?
Lisa has worked in Information Technology for 20+ years in a variety of roles from software developer, database administrator, business analysis, team leadership, lean consultant, agile transformation lead, scrummaster and coach. Most of her career has been spent in the Insurance sector.
As an agile coach she has worked with all levels in organizations (in information systems departments and business lines) to promote, educate and coach agility. She emphasizes the people and cultural implications of agile adoption, as such much of her work is about engaging and energizing people and teams.
Lisa believes in lifelong learning and has achieved a number of credentials to demonstrate both the knowledge and skills application. The list would be too long but here are a couple to note:

Lisa is an amazing agile and lean coach. I had the pleasure of mentoring and working with her at a Canadian Insurance company where she was the internal agile transformation lead. She demonstrated a deep understanding of optimizing agile ways of working with the Disciplined Agile toolkit. She facilitated transformational change with the DA Exploratory (Lean Change) approach to build true business agility.
